Notion Unveils Notion Mail Simplifying Email with Built-In Integration

Notion has opened a waitlist for their newest feature, Notion Mail! This is an important addition, as many people and businesses still prefer communicating via email over collaboration tools. With this integration, Notion users may no longer need to switch between apps to manage their emails.

Auto Follow-Ups, Data Highlighting, and Much More

While there is no data shared yet, the waitlist page hints at several useful features.

Here are some highlights:

Auto Date Highlighting

In long emails, deadline dates can easily be missed or forgotten over time. Notion Mail’s AI seems to automatically highlight important dates in the email subject line, helping users keep track of deadlines.

Auto Follow-Up

This feature sends automatic follow-up emails if the recipient hasn’t responded, which could save a lot of time—especially when the recipient has simply overlooked the email.

Personalized Emails

One of Notion’s biggest strengths is creating templates and systems for repetitive tasks, and now this will extend to emails as well. It looks like users can create email templates with customizable fields, making it easier to send bulk emails for tasks like responding to job applications or pitching.

Quick Previews

Notion Mail also promises quick email previews, making it more efficient to handle emails without fully opening them. For example, promotional emails, like newsletters with a discount, can be previewed at a glance, showing banner images on hover.

Release Date is Early 2025

According to the waitlist page, Notion Mail is expected to release in early 2025, with initial integrations for Google and Gmail, and compatibility with major mobile OS platforms (iOS and Android).
