As Framer users, we’ve experienced many updates firsthand, though we may have missed some updates before starting Keyofroi. Here’s a brief summary of 2024’s updates, grouped by key areas:

Unsurprisingly, design remains one of Framer’s strongest features. It allows users to create visually appealing, interactive, and high-performing sites with minimal effort. A review of their update history reveals many new visualization features.

Framer consistently delivers performance and infrastructure updates, as most CMSes do. From our experience, Framer rarely requires speed optimization. Without implementing specific tweaks, we’ve been delighted with our website’s performance. We are optimizing our banners before uploading them to our website as a general best practice. While it might not be necessary or there may be easier methods, since we don’t use many images, manual optimization works well for us. Framer handles everything seamlessly. Occasionally, they roll out speed optimizations, which we greatly appreciate—thank you, Framer!

Corporate websites often require news sections or blogs, so this focus on CMS functionality makes sense. Since our website focuses on articles and news, we’ve found Framer’s CMS features to be practical and reliable.

For personal websites without retargeting needs, Framer covers essential metrics like visitors, locations, and sources (including UTM breakdowns).

2025 Predictions
